CF women's training conference

Last weekend our Chairman attended the CF women's training day conference in London. There were sessions on media training which had speakers including our very own Esther McVey! Iain Dale also talked about the blogging movement and gave great advice which will hopfeully be reflected in this blog.

This conference was a brilliant opportunity to not only gain experience from the training but also to make new friends with other women CFers from all round the country. Mark Clarke, the national CF Chairman did a fantastic job of organising this conference and hopefully in the future more members from Wirral West will be able to attend events such as these.

Throughout the day there were mentions about the increasing number of social action projects taking place throughout the country led by the Conservatives (like the one previously mentioned at the Bournemouth conference). Wirral West were used as an example for how to get involved in these community based projects as we have done many beach clean ups in our area.
